Referendum

In conjunction with the demographer’s report, overcrowding, aging buildings, usage space shrinking due to educational program requirements and an increase in the school-aged population of Nutley, the Nutley Public School district is exploring building concepts and plans, based on the space needs within our buildings and educational benefits for our students. The Board will vote to move forward with a referendum vote at the March 27th Board of Education meeting.

This page will recap the Town Hall meetings, held in January and February 2017 and will provide information on moving forward.

On Monday, September 25, 2017, the Board of Education voted to put the referendum out to the community of Nutley on December 12, 2017.
